Veterinary Health Consultant (DVM)
Health & Science · Part-time / Contract · Remote (North America)
$80–$120/hour CAD
Help shape the clinical accuracy of PetVitale’s AI features. You’ll review AI health assistant responses, validate document scanning outputs, and ensure our platform provides safe, accurate pet health guidance.
What you'll do
- Review and improve AI Health Assistant responses for clinical accuracy
- Validate AI document scanning outputs (vaccination records, lab results)
- Define pet health reminder schedules and vaccination protocols by species/breed
- Consult on pet health content for blog and educational features
- Advise on veterinary industry standards and best practices
- Help build breed-specific health benchmarking data
What we're looking for
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- 3+ years of clinical veterinary practice
- Strong understanding of common pet health conditions, vaccinations, and medications
- Excellent written communication skills
- Comfort with technology and digital health tools
Nice to have
- Experience with veterinary telehealth platforms
- Interest in AI/ML applications in veterinary medicine
- Board certification in a specialty area
- Experience creating pet health educational content
