By accessing and using PetVitale ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PetVitale provides a platform for pet owners to:

• Manage pet health records and documents
• Set reminders for vaccinations, medications, and appointments
• Compare veterinary service costs
• Book appointments with veterinary clinics
• Access pet care information and resources

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription and Payments

PetVitale offers both free and paid subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Allows management of 1 pet with basic features
• Premium Plan ($9.99/month): Unlimited pets and documents with priority support
• Family Plan ($19.99/month): Up to 5 pets with family sharing for up to 5 users

Payment will be charged to your chosen payment method at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.

6. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to PetVitale, including:

• Pet profiles and information
• Health records and documents
• Photos and images
• Notes and reminders

By uploading content, you grant PetVitale a license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Scrape or collect data from the Service through automated means

8. Medical Disclaimer

PetVitale is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary care. The information and tools provided are for organizational and informational purposes only. Always consult with a licensed veterinarian regarding your pet's health concerns.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as veterinary clinics) that are not owned or controlled by PetVitale. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites or services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PetVitale shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of your data
• Any errors or omissions in content or information
• Any decisions made based on information provided through the Service

11. Modifications to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
